They are written to be read and understood, not to be skimmed past. If any part is unclear, write to us and we will explain it.

Devagya Sutram is a Vedic astrology, Vastu and Muhurta consultancy based in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India. Throughout these terms, “we” and “us” mean Devagya Sutram, and “you” means the person using this website.

This website is informational. It describes our practice and the counsel we offer, and it provides a form through which you may request a consultation.

There are no user accounts to create, nothing is sold or paid for here, and no consultation is confirmed by the website itself. Submitting the contact form is an enquiry, not a booking.

Where we agree to work together, the terms of that engagement — the scope of the consultation, fees, scheduling, what you receive, and what happens if a session is rescheduled or cancelled — are agreed directly between us in writing at the time of booking.

Those engagement terms govern the consultation itself. These website terms do not set fees and do not create any obligation on us to accept an enquiry. We may decline any request at our discretion.

Jyotish, Vastu and the allied Vedic sciences are interpretive traditions. A chart is calculated mathematically, but its reading is an act of judgement informed by training and experience — it is not a measurement, a prediction that can be verified in advance, or a guarantee of any outcome.

We offer our honest interpretation with care and rigour. We do not promise results, and no statement on this site or in a consultation should be read as a warranty that any particular event will or will not occur.

Every decision you take after a consultation remains entirely your own, and you are responsible for it.

Nothing on this website or in a consultation is medical, psychological, legal, financial, or any other form of licensed professional advice, and it must not be treated as such.

Where we recommend a gemstone, mantra, ritual or other remedial measure, we do so as astrological guidance. No such recommendation is a treatment for any physical or mental health condition, and none should replace medical care.

We do not sell gemstones through this website. If you purchase a stone on the strength of a recommendation, that purchase is a matter between you and the seller, including questions of authenticity, certification, quality and price.

Vastu counsel concerns the orientation and energetic balance of a space. It is not a structural, engineering or safety assessment.

Before making any physical alteration to a property on the basis of our recommendations, please consult a qualified architect or structural engineer and satisfy yourself that the work complies with local building regulations and approvals. We accept no responsibility for construction work carried out following a consultation.

The accuracy of any chart depends entirely on the accuracy of the birth date, time and place you provide. A small error in the recorded time of birth can change a reading materially.

You are responsible for the accuracy of what you send us. We are not responsible for an interpretation that proves unsound because it rested on incorrect details, though we will always try to identify and rectify obvious discrepancies where we can.

The text, imagery, design and arrangement of this website, and the reports, charts and written analyses we prepare for you, are our intellectual property or are used by us with permission.

You may read, print and keep material from this site for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not republish it, sell it, or reproduce it in any medium — including in teaching or in another practice — without our written consent. A report prepared for you is for you; please do not circulate it as your own work.

In short: the contact form sends nothing to a server of ours, this site sets no cookies and runs no tracking, and your details are used only to prepare and provide the counsel you asked for.

We may revise these terms from time to time. The current version will always be posted on this page, carrying the date on which it was last updated, and it applies from the moment it is posted. Please check back on occasion.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Indore, Madhya Pradesh shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of them or out of your use of this website.

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect.
